Emili Roman
Director
Emili Roman has served in the probation field since 2008 and became Director of Cherokee Probation Services when the county established the department in 2019. She is POST-certified in Probation/Parole and Basic Law Enforcement; holds POST Intermediate and Advanced certificates; is a POST Senior Instructor and a POST Firearms Instructor; and is certified as a Crisis Intervention Team member. She has prior professional experience in private misdemeanor probation and state felony probation.
Emili holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University, as well as a Master of Public Administration from Reinhardt University. Emili graduated from Leadership Cherokee (2018) and was recognized as one of Cherokee County’s Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals in 2019.
